Welcome to the Second Beyond the Sword Game of the month.
This game must be played with version 3.13 of Civilization BtS.
C-IV Botm II: Native Americans
This month we are running a pangea map, which could lead to some fast military wins, especially with a Civ that has a very early unique unit. Or perhaps you'd prefer the challenge of a peaceful space, cultural or diplomatic win? We've ramped up the difficulty a bit from last month so it's on Monarch level!
Please note that the HOF mod is now compulsory! You MUST use the HOF mod, version 3.13.001. If you don't yet have this version, you can get it here: HOF Mod Homepage
Note that you cannot play this BOTM on a Mac, because BtS hasn't been released for Macs!

Adventurer Class Game Details for Civ4 BOTM 02
Players who choose
to play in the Adventurer class game will receive a set of bonuses designed to
help them focus on key early strategic decisions that may help them to
get more enjoyment out of the specific conditions of this game. The bonuses
ARE NOT designed to guarantee you a win without requiring some good early decisions
to be made and without asking you to manage your Civilization properly.
Players who might be interested in playing the Adventurer class game could be those players
who might only feel comfortable playing at Warlord or Noble difficulty.
For the purposes of global ranking and comparison to all other GOTM scores, the Adventurer class
games scores in the GOTM results will be weighted downward with an 85% multiplier
to factor out the value of the additional starting bonuses. To qualify for this class,
you must not have finished in the top half of the field in any Civ4 GOTM.

Adventurer Class Starting Bonuses:
Adventurer class players will begin the game with following unit and game feature bonuses:
- Scout: You have a scout (sharing a tile with the settler).
- Clever scout:Your scout has told you the secret of hunting (just as well really because if you didn't know hunting, how could you have a scout....?)
