This is a C3C Game Of The Month. It MUST be played in Conquests Patch version 1.22f.
Conquest 03: Byzantines
The Byzantine empire was founded when the Roman Emperor Constantine I moved his Roman Capital east to the site of the old Greek colony of Byzantium, naming it "Constantinople".
When the western Roman empire was sacked by "barbarians", the Byzantines began to be recognised as a empire of their own; fighting the persians to the east, the barbarian kingdoms that had arisen in the old Roamn empire, and expanding through the region. Although surviving conquest by the crusaders in the 1200's, the Byzantine empire was finally destroyed by the Ottoman Turks.
Playing as the Byzantines, can you establish your empire, and prevent it being overrun by the barbarians?
