This month the level goes up to immortal, so expect a real challenge. You're playing the Stalin - an aggressive leader, on an inland sea map, which may tempt people who like early conquering. But you also have stone near the start, which you may want to use in conjunction with Stalin's industrious trait to build early wonders.

IMPORTANT: This game must be played with the BtS 3.17 patch, and the HOF mod version 3.17.001. This is the first BOTM to use the new patch and HOF mod, so you may need to update your game installation.

Besides the normal contender, we sometimes provide an easier save (the adventurer save) and an extra-hard save (the challenger).

Below are the details for the saves we are providing for this game. You can choose to play and submit any one of these:

Adventurer (the easy save)

The adventurer starting save has been changed to make your game a bit easier. However, if you submit an adventurer game, you won't eligible to win any of the medals or fastest finish awards when the results are published.

These are your adventurer bonuses:

• Quick farms: You start with the knowledge of agriculture.mean an archer.
• Worker: Just so you don't have to wait before building a farm, you have a worker (sharing a tile with the settler)
