CIV5 GOTM Submission Form

Use this form to submit your entry for the Civ 5 or CivBE Game of the Month competitions.

NOTE: This form does NOT handle Civ3 or Civ4 submissions.

To enter, you must complete all fields in the form and upload a manually saved file (xxx.Civ5Save or xxx.CivBESave) from the turn immediately AFTER the victory or defeat in all cases except a conquest defeat (see notes below). Uploaded files must be less than 6 MBytes in size, and must NOT be zipped.

You may only submit one entry for each game, and it must be your first attempt at the game, played without reloads.

The approximate time remaining for each open game is shown below.

We are currently accepting submissions for Civ5 GOTM 279 (8 days 13 hours) and Civ5 GOTM 280 (18 days 13 hours)

You will receive immediate confirmation of your successful submission on screen. Email acknowledgements are currently disabled.

Notes

1. Use the File Selector to upload your Final Saved Game file.
   Please note that if you upload an incomplete save file using this upload button, then your entry will be rejected unless you select "The turn when I was Conquered" or "When I retired...".

2. To reach the turn after game completion select the "Play more turns ..." option after the victory ceremony, then select Save Game in the game menu. If you suffer a total defeat this option is not available, so you must submit a manual save made during the turn when you are defeated. Then select "The turn when I was Conquered".

3. You may submit a Retired game. This will be scored the same as a defeat, but will not be eligible for any award.

4. If you are unable to submit a suitable file, or have other problems with this submission form, please email your file to us with the required information and a description of the problem.
